Shattered mirror

I had this idea from a dream I had last night.

I was being so self focused so scared of what others thought of me. As I stood in front of this mirror God came and shattered it into a million little bits.

That wasn't all that he shattered. He broke me. In His grace so that by his love I could share that powerful out pouring of his love to the world and stop focusing on myself. Stop caring what I though or what others though and understand what it truly means to be broken in grace. Being reminded that.

22 But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.
23 For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks intently at his natural face in a mirror.
24 For he looks at himself and goes away and at once forgets what he was like.
25 But the one who looks into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and perseveres, being no hearer who forgets but a doer who acts, he will be blessed in his doing.

Act as though you have been broken by the grace of God for the Joy of His Glory.

When I look back into this broken mirror I am made joyful of the memory that God loved me enough to save me from me.

Mosaic of Love

What about this wounded soldier?

Does he stand a chance?

Frightened to meet the king he shakes.

Will the king recognize these self inflicted wounds?

Hiding his own stabbed heart the soldier called forward.

His face in shame yet the King pulls him closer.

Lifts his head and peers into the eyes.

All fear passed as the soldier sees that his King's face is the Mosaic of Love.
